Hello Mommys, I am a Disney regular. Usual stay at the Polynesian.Love it..this time we are thinking about changing it up a bit. Going to the Beach club for 4 days and Polynesian for 4 days. Your thoughts on this. 13son/mom/dad going.

    Hi Linda:

I'm a creature of habit, and love staying at my favorite Resorts over and over. HOwever, Disney World offers so many different Resort options that I think it's a great idea to expand your horizons. Chances are your 13-year-old is going to love Beach Club. Even thought it's not on the monorail like the Polynesian, it's got a great location, being so close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Also, while you are used to an amazing pool at Polynesian, the pool at the Beach Club, Stormalong Bay, is even better. Stormalong Bay is a mini-water park covering three acres and features a lazy river and huge water slide.

The drawback to changing Resorts during your vacation is having to unpack and pack twice. Also, your room at the second Resort may not be ready by the time you are ready to check in. Bell services will hold your bags until your room is ready, but I would make sure you take certain essentials in a small bag with you.

    Enjoy your vacation.
