Hi mommies. Please help! We're going to Walt Disney World in January 2020. My son (3) loooves the Test Track. He watches at Youtube every day and talks about how will draw his car. But it will be under refurb. I really don´t know how to tell him.

    Olá, Fernando!

First of all, let me share some good news! We can also help you in Portuguese if you'd rather talk about your visit using our beautiful native language! I'm Brazilian, and I have the honor of assisting Guests in Portuguese, so, please, feel free to send us questions in Portuguese through this website.

While we cannot change the refurbishment dates for Test Track, we can undoubtedly suggest ideas to help you soften the news. My first suggestion is to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

The Cars Family Suites are filled with fun characters, and you can find Lightning McQueen, Cruz Ramirez, and many other beloved Cars on the grounds. By staying there, you can keep him within the automobile theme and make him feel like he is on "Test Track's world."

Then, upon arrival, you can have "Test Track" leave him a letter and a gift. You can write a card explaining that Test Track had a flat tire and is going to need some time to go to the repair shop.

To make him feel like the attraction really wants to be with him during this vacation, you can gift him a Test Track Radio Control Vehicle with the card. You can purchase it online on Shop Disney and have it delivered to your Disney Resort hotel so that it's there for you to surprise him.

I'm sure that you both will have a lot of fun playing with your own little "Test Track" on the grounds of Disney's Art of Animation Resort!

You can also keep him connected with the automotive world by taking him to Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant can be an excellent choice for your visit, as all the tables are inside cars!

The Vintage Amphicars at Disney Springs can also be a fantastic idea for a relaxed afternoon before a delicious dinner at The BOATHOUSE, for example.

Finally, you can plan to celebrate his fourth birthday at the Walt Disney World Resort so that you can ride Test Track together!

I hope that these ideas help you make many happy memories at the Walt Disney World Resort, Fernando!

If more questions arise before January, please, let us know. We're here to help!

Que a magia esteja com você,

    Julie
