hi mom.i will be visiting wdw in aug..and was wondering why you perfer disney's beach club villa over the disney's all star resort.as i was thinking to book at disney's all star movies resort..im 65 and my greatgrandon will be 4 aug 27

    Hi Joan,

There are plenty of guests who consider Disney's All Star Movies Resort their favorite.  It's a larger-than-life celebration of all things movie-related.  It offers guests a colorful, festive environment at a great price.

However, if someone prefers Disney's Beach Club Villas over Disney's All-Star Resorts, there are a number of reasons that might be offered to justify their preference.  For instance, there's nothing quite like being able to walk less than five minutes to enter the International Gateway entrance to Epcot.  When I stayed at this resort last March, I could hop on over to Epcot for dining, shows, and attractions in just a matter of moments.  It was such a wonderful luxury!

Many also consider Stormalong Bay (the themed pool at Disney's Beach Club Resort) to be one of the most exciting and well-themed on property.  The water slide originates in a shipwrecked pirate ship.  It's pretty thrilling.  While the pool at Disney's All Star Resorts are fun, they lack some of the "bells and whistles" of pools found at the deluxe Disney resorts.

I'm sure you and your grandson would enjoy staying at either of these magical resorts.  If there's anything more you'd like to know about either one, just ask!
