    Hi, Mom! I would like to come for the Star Wars race series and arrive Thursday to run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. What are considered the host hotels that provide transportation to the events? I do not plan to attend the parks other than the races.

    Hi Laura! In just a little more than three months, you will be on your way to running through Walt Disney World Resort property. How exciting!

    You'll be happy to know that all Walt Disney World Resort hotels are considered host hotels for Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend - The Dark Side. This means that all of your transportation needs for each event, including the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, will be complimentary when you stay at any resort hotel on Walt Disney World Resort property. Having participated in multiple runDisney events myself, I know what a relief it is to be able to focus on running instead of worrying about coordinating transportation. Just sit back and let Disney do the driving!

    Since it sounds like you will be running the Star Wars Dark Side 5K, Star Wars Dark Side 10K and Star Wars Dark Side Half Marathon (go you!), you'll want to make sure to arrive early enough on Thursday to spend some time at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. All runners must attend the Expo in order to receive their race number and other goodies. There is a lot to see at the Expo, so plan enough time to take it all in!
