My mom is a 64-year-old cancer patient and recently surprised us saying she wants to take us all to WDW in Fall 2014. What can WE do to surprise HER during our trip? I want to make it special for the grandkids, too. Also, she's not in good physical shape.

Hi Sarah! How wonderful that your mom is treating the family to a Walt Disney World trip!

Consider treating to your mom to a surprise special experience during your trip. The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party allows the whole family to dine on a dessert buffet while watching the Wishes fireworks from a prime location. The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is fun for all ages -- the pirates keep everyone laughing as you cruise around the Seven Seas Lagoon and the voyage offers a stunning view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

How about surprising your mom with a gift when she returns to her resort room? The Disney Florist offers lots of floral arrangements and presents, and it's such a delight to open your resort room door and see a surprise waiting for you. Consider the "Just Keep Swimming" bouquet for your mom as an acknowledgement of her battle with cancer.

A fun family meal is always a treat too. Surprise your mom with a trip to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! The food is tasty and filling and the show will have your entire family laughing and singing.

For a lasting memento of your vacation, schedule a portrait session with Disney Fine Art Photography. The family pictures taken during these sessions are amazing, and your whole family will have a wonderful tangible memory from this special trip.
