My mom and I will be visiting WDW this April. We have enjoyed the 4 parks during our prior visits, but have yet to venture to the water parks. We are only staying 8 days and were wondering if it's worth ditching the parks one day and hitting the water?

Hi Morgan! If you haven't yet experienced a Disney Water Park, then I would definitely take the opportunity.

We used to spend every possible moment in the 4 main parks as well...it was hard to pry ourselves away. However, one year, we gave Typhoon Lagoon a try. Boy, are we glad we did! We had SO much fun on the water slides, lazy river and in the wave pool. It was a different Disney experience, but a wonderful one! My Dad joined us for his 60th birthday celebration, and I will cherish the memories of riding Crush 'n' Gusher together for a lifetime.

What I would suggest is that you spend the first 4 days in each of the Main Parks, then hit a water park. This, of course, is provided the weather is great every day. If there's only one super hot day, then make that your water park day. I'd use the last 3 days to return to see your favorites in the other Parks.

Hope this helps! Whatever you decide to do, have a Magical vacation!
