Hi Mom, We're visiting with our kids and Gkids for the first time in December and staying at AK. I've heard there are rooms that you can actually feed the animals from the balcony of your room. Is this true and if so, how do I request these rooms.

    Hi John!!

Thank you so much for your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!!

You will absolutely love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!!  It truly feels like you have been transported to the middle of an African Wildlife Preserve!  It is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful here!

Unfortunately, you are unable to feed any of the animals from your balcony.  There are signs and stickers posted on the balconies that say this.  However, your children and grandchildren will love the experiences they will have from being able to sit out on your own balcony and watch zebras, giraffes, ostriches, and other wildlife roam freely in the savanna!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Have a magical trip!!
