mom & I are visiting for our ann. mother/daughter trip for my 40th this year. We are considering Keys to Kingdom tour but mom will be using a scooter due to difficulty walking, however, she can transfer to rides. Is this tour handicapped accessibity

    Hi Wendy,

I love that you and your mom are taking a Mother / Daughter trip to Disney! And what better place to celebrate a 40th Birthday!

I love tours at Disney and Disney's Keys to The Kingdom Tour is one of my favorites. I loved hearing the stories about Walt Disney coming up with the idea for the Magic Kingdom, visualized it and make it happen. You'll learn about how Disney always pays attention down to the last detail - a lot of which go unnoticed by Guests.

This tour is indeed handicapped accessible so they will be able to accommodate your mom's needs.  Be sure you mention this when you are booking the tour.  The tour does include a trip down to the legendary tunnels (utilidors) under the Magic Kingdom.  There are elevators to get down to them so your mom would be able to use her scooter during that part of the tour as well.

The Keys to the Kingdom Tour lasts approximately 4.5 hours and is held daily.  The current cost is $70.00 per person (always subject to change).  Theme park admission is required but not included in the cost of the tour.

When booking, be sure to ask about any discounts offered for this tour.  They often offer them for Chase Disney Visa Rewards cardholders and Annual Passholders.  To book call 407-WDW-TOUR.

Please let us know if you have any further questions during your planning.  Wishing you many magical birthday memories with your mom :-) Allison
