My mom & I usually split meals when we eat out at home and I'm wondering if we can use just 1 TS credit & split a meal so we don't waste food. Particularly 50's prime time or Jungle Navigation

    Hi Shannah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

If you and your mom plan to use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements to pay for your meal at a table service restaurant, you typically won’t be able to use only one table service entitlement if two people are dining. This means that both of you will need to use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements for your meal, even if you’re splitting an entree.

I completely understand wanting to split meals due to portion sizes, so here’s what I recommend: pay out of pocket for your meals at 50’s Prime Time Café and Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. Then, use your “extra” entitlements to splurge on a Signature Dining Experience or a Dinner Show, which usually require the use of 2 table service entitlements. Using your entitlements that way will allow you to maximize the value of your Disney Dining Plan and really give you the best of both worlds!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
