Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I am sure you have beautiful plans for the memories you will be creating while there. It is good to hear that you were able to rent a scooter for your mom; I know that will come in handy in and outside of the theme parks.

Yes, there are ride-share companies that will accommodate your mom’s scooter. For rides inside Walt Disney World Resort, the Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft has Accessible Minnie Vans. You will need to download the Lyft app within Walt Disney World Resort, enter your destination, confirm your pickup location, and tap “Select Access. Minnie Van” to make the request. While you are on the Lyft app, (for those grocery store runs), you will not be able to request a “Minnie Van,” but you will be able to request an accessible Lyft ride. Just open the Lyft app, select settings, then “Wheelchair access.” The access vehicles accommodate wheelchairs or mobility devices that need a ramp. So the good news is that there are choices.
