Hello, Dinna!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending your question to us! It sounds like you are sailing on the Disney Cruise Line with your family soon. How fun! We love traveling with extended family members on Disney Cruises. My kids especially enjoy having their grandparents and cousins join us. We always have the best time!
Unfortunately, blenders are prohibited from being brought onboard a Disney Cruise at this time according to the
Prohibited and Restricted Items list. I am sorry! I usually make a protein shake for breakfast, and I know how useful it is to have a blender. Are there any pre-made, packaged drinks that work for her? If so, she may be able to bring these on board. They need to be sealed in their original containers and brought in her carry-on bag. My planDisney friend
JoVonn suggests bringing a small, soft-sided cooler as a carry-on bag if she does not have enough room in her carry-on luggage.
You can also contact Disney Cruise Line if your mom has
special dietary needs. We have food allergies in our family, and we work with Disney Cruise Line before our voyages to help ensure that my family members with allergies have access to safe, preferred food. Dietary special requests are available at no additional charge on the "Special Requests" section under "My Reservations" on the
Disney Cruise Line website.
Dinna, I know this was not the information you were looking for, but I hope you and your family have a magical vacation filled with laughter and joy. We hope to see you real soon!
Happy sailing!
Jen
