My Mom and I will be there in two weeks for the first time, the resorts didn't have an opening while we were there, so we are off the property. Do you have any advice to make our trip as smooth as possible?

Arrive to the parks early in the morning. If you are driving, be sure to mark down your parking spot or take a picture of the nearest sign. You’ll want to allow extra time for getting to the Magic Kingdom since you will arrive the Transportation and Ticket Center and then need to monorail or ferry over to the entrance.

If your hotel has a shuttle, make sure you are on the first one leaving each morning.

Avoid the parks with Extra Magic Hours. If a park has morning Extra Magic Hours, it will open one hour earlier to WDW resort guests. If a park ahs evening Extra Magic Hours, it will remain open 3 extra hours to WDW resort guests. These parks are more crowded and should truly be avoided by guests staying off property. Don’t join the crowd, go in the opposite direction!

Make sure that you have made Advance Dining Reservations for any table service restaurants that you are interested in enjoying.

Relax and enjoy a wonderful vacation with your Mom!
