My mom just turned 60 and we are coming to WDW in 13 days! We want to give her a surprise with Mickey and a cake over a meal special for her. She is IN LOVE with mickey mouse. How can I make this happen? HELP! Under a time crunch. Thanks so much!

    Hi Cindy!

Congratulations! What a wonderful occasion to be celebrating during your Walt Disney World vacation. I am sure it will make your trip even more magical and truly an experience your family will cherish for years to come.

I too LOVE Mickey Mouse!  One of my favorite places to dine, with his company, is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  I suggest making a reservation as soon as possible, as it is a popular place and tends to book up quickly.  Reservations do become available on short notice, so just keep checking if at first you don't see any.  There are also very fun Mickey Mouse cakes you can order ahead to surprise her with! To learn more about this idea and other great ones for helping celebrate your mom's special day, check out the Customize Your Celebration page.

I hope you find just the extra bit of Pixie-Dust you are looking for!  Please let me know if there is anything else I may help you with.

Have a wonderful vacation and please wish your mom a very happy birthday from all of us on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
