Hi Rebecca,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question. How exciting to have added a day to your vacation! I'm sorry your vacation was postponed, but I sure am glad you were able to reschedule it for October and how wonderful that you were able to add a day to boot!
Being able to merge or
modify a Disney Resort hotel reservation may depend upon many factors depending on how your reservations were made. In my experience when using a Travel Agent, the Agent is the one who needs to modify your reservation. Having a Travel Agent can be very handy at times since they are doing all the work! However in cases like this, it may be more tricky. I advise calling the number listed in here for
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and discuss your options with a Cast Member. Be sure to have both confirmation numbers for your reservations handy so they can look them up.
Rebecca, things may have changed a bit since you made your first reservation in March but you should still have a Magical vacation! Here is a link for the current
Walt Disney World Operational Updates so you can be prepared for your upcoming vacation. One important detail to note is the new
Disney Park Pass System with which you make a reservation to visit one theme park per day. This system helps maintain an appropriate number of Guests in each park and thereby reinforces physical distancing. Keep in mind that you need both a Disney Park Pass AND valid admission to enter any of the theme parks.
Have a Magical vacation and please let us know if we can answer any further vacation planning questions, we always love to help!
