Hi Barbara,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As the Mother of four (two of whom are teenagers) who has stayed at almost all of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, I can assure you that your teens will be happy no matter which Resort Hotel you decide upon for your stay. That said, my children are big fans of Disney's Beach Club Resort and almost always request that we stay there during our visits.
Disney's Beach Club Resort is a Deluxe Resort Hotel so it is a bit pricier but, if your budget allows, the location alone makes it well worth the cost. You can easily walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios or take a Water taxi if you prefer. You can also travel to Magic Kingdom Park by way of the Epcot Monorail, giving you access to 3 Theme Parks without needing to use Disney Bus Transportation. Disney's BoardWalk is just a short walk from the Resort and has lots of great entertainment in the evening and, in my opinion, some of the best restaurants on property. Your kids will also enjoy the sand-bottomed pool at the Resort called Stormalong Bay. With its 230 ft. long waterslide, lazy river, and three whirlpool spas they are guaranteed to love the Resort just as much as the Theme Parks.
If you're looking for a more moderately priced Resort Hotel, then I recommend
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. My kids love spending time at Ol’ Man Island Pool and Riverside Mill Food Court is at the top of my list as one of the best Quick Service Dining Restaurants on property. We also enjoy renting a Surrey Bike and cruising around the beautiful property surrounding the Resort.
I hope these suggestions help you to make the most out of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Magical Wishes,
Susan
