Hi there, Gina, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your question. I hope I can set your mind at ease as you and your son explore the Walt Disney World Resort.
Gina, I'm also the mom of one awesome little boy. He's nine (how did that happen, anyway?), and even now, I share your reluctance to let my son go into the men's room by himself, no matter where we are. You will absolutely find companion and family restrooms throughout the Theme Parks. There's even an
interactive map on the Walt Disney World website that will help you locate all of the restrooms around the Parks, including a listing of companion facilities.
Also, feel free to pop into the
Baby Care Centers at each of the Theme Parks if your little guy needs to go. They're designed for families with small children, not strictly babies, so there's also a regular restroom in each one, complete with both adult and child-sized toilets. And Gina, please know that you are absolutely welcome to take your little boy into the ladies' restroom if you need to. As a mom myself, I'm sure no one would think twice about it.
While you're making plans, be sure to check out Disney's great
guide to planning for parents of little ones. It will help you find lots of fun things to do with your Mouseketeer!
I hope this helps you have a magical vacation with your son, Gina. Please come see us again if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
