My mom has tickets to Disneyland & California Adventure. Should I link my MagicBand to my Disney account or my mom’s Disney account?

Hey there, Kira! We are so glad to see you've stopped by again to ask us another question! Welcome!

That's so exciting to hear that your mom has tickets to Disneyland Resort soon and that you want to use a MagicBand+. You will want to link the MagicBand+ to the Disney account that has the ticket you are wanting to assign the MagicBand+ to. If the ticket you are wanting to assign it to is on both your mom's and your Disney account, you could link it to either. Also know, that it is easy to unlink a MagicBand+ to an account and unassign to a ticket and then change it as well if needed.

Did you hear that now you can interact with some of the Disney100 medallions and statues throughout the resort? When you see a statue or medallion, move your MagicBand+ in a circular motion and wait to see what happens!

With all that waving of your MagicBand+, you just may work up an appetite for a treat. The Disney100 Celebration also brought us a bunch of fun treats to Disneyland! Be sure to check out the Foodie Guide and make a list of the treats you want to try. I recently stopped by Alien Pizza Planet and grabbed the Lemon Tea Cake and I really enjoyed it!

Kira, thanks again for bringing your question to us! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
