so i am 24 and my mom is taking me to wdw for the first time on halloween. we will only have the one day and are wondering what advice you have for which park or parks to try to visit in the allotted time without rushing through everything?

    Hi Heather!

This is a great question.  If this is your first visit to Walt Disney World then you have to see the Magic Kingdom, the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort.  It is a favorite of guests of all ages, and it is my favorite park.  There are lots of attractions for guests of all ages to enjoy!

However, the Magic Kingdom will be closing at 7 pm on Halloween for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  If you already have a ticket for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party then definitely head into the Magic Kingdom when it opens in the morning; that is because a lot of guests not going to the party that night will skip the Magic Kingdom because it closes to non-party goers so early; they would rather visit another park that is staying open late.  Thus the Magic Kingdom will be relatively slow on that day, though it will be packed that night.

If you don't have a ticket for the Halloween Party, but you have a Park Hopper pass then I would still suggest going to the Magic Kingdom first and then park hopping before 7 pm to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios.  If you don't have a Park Hopper pass then I think it is more tricky.  However, I would still recommend seeing the Magic Kingdom because it is that good.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
