Hi Mom! We are taking our first cruise in late October and I am slightly worried about getting from the parking lot at the port (we are driving straight there) to the ship. My MIL has trouble walking some distance and we'll have a lot of lugguge. Do you

    Hi Rachel,

No worries!  The first time we drove ourselves to the terminal in Port Canaveral, I was amazed at just how convenient and accessible it was!  When you arrive at the Port, you will be directed to the unload area where you can unload your luggage, which will be taken by a helpful porter.  Here you and your party (with the exception of your driver) can unload as well, and you're only steps away from the terminal entrance.   Just be sure to keep any of your carry on bags with you - as anything that is turned over to the porters will be delivered directly to your stateroom later that day.

    I hope this helps.
