I am going with my mom this summer and she is concerned about going on some of the rides. She is a bigger woman and does not know if she will be able to ride the rides, and does not want to be embarrassed by finding out the hard way. Any answers?

    Hey Emily!

There is a great resource for us "Pooh-sized" girls at AllEars.net where you search for their articles on "Disney at Large".

They have descriptions of the rides and good general tips from other people who have been there, done that.  I love this resource as it has eased the fears of so many people who just want to enjoy the Magic at Disney without having to worry about what kind of seat will be waiting for them at the end of a line.

I can tell you from my own experience that she will probably be fine on most if not all the rides! I love that at Disney World there are all shapes and sizes of people, from the tiniest princess to the cuddliest pooh bears. I've never felt conspicuous or embarrassed...even though I've eyed those turnstiles for a moment before forging on before!

Emily, I hope that you and your Mom have a fabulous time this summer!
