    My mom is staying in a separate room than my family and getting the deluxe dining. If we do character meals can she 'pay' for us all with her dining plan credits?

    Hi Laura! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    How fun to be planning a trip with the whole family! You are all going to have the best time!

    Since 2017, the Disney dining plans, including the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, made a change that allows Guests to use their dining plan meal entitlements for meals of those dining with them. This means that if your whole party is at a Character Dining experience, your mom will be able to use her Table-Service meal entitlements for your whole family's meals as long as she has enough entitlements available to do so. She will just need to let the Cast Member assisting you at your meal know what she is planning to do.
