Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    My mom and I are staying at Pop Century in Nov for a wedding at the Contemprory. We will need to get our hair done. Can you recommend salons on or off property? Mom can't walk long distances.

    HI Ellen,

    Mom Panelist Erin has become a fan of Ivy Trellis Salon at the Grand Floridian resort (it is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm & the front desk of Pop Century should be able to help you with an appointment). To get to the resort from Pop Century, the simplest thing to do is to take a taxi.  However, if you'd like to avoid that cost, you can take the Magic Kingdom resort bus then transfer by boat or monorail to the Grand Floridian -- but there will be more walking with this.  Once finished and looking beautiful, you can take the monorail to the Contemporary.
