Mom son will be celebrating his 5th Birthday while we are there. It will be his 1st visit to Disneyworld. Can you give us some tips for the big day!

    Hi Shelley!

Happy birthday to your son!  Turning 5 is huge and what a way to celebrate by going to Walt Disney World!  My first suggestion is to book any special dining reservations you might be interested in.  Perhaps a character meal with Mickey and his friends at Chef Mickey's!  Reservations do fill up fast for a lot of the restaurants, so take a look around and see what interests you and your son.

Another special way to celebrate is by transforming into a pirate at the Pirate's League.  I'm planning on doing this for my son for his 4th birthday this year.  After they get their "Arrrrgh" on, they can parade around Adventureland.  Keep the pirate theme going and sail on a Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage!  My son absolutely LOVED this and he was super excited to have a meet and greet with Captain Hook.

Don't forget to ask any guest relations Cast Member for a special Happy Birthday and 1st Time Visitor button so your son can show off to everyone that he is the birthday boy!

    Have a magical birthday!
