Hello, Katrina and welcome to planDisney! We are happy you dropped by with your question.
Katrina, how exciting that you'll be taking a family cruise in 2024. My family recently sailed on the
Disney Dream and my father-in-law joined us for his first-ever sailing. Cruises are a great family vacation option because there are activities for all interests. My father-in-law loved the
entertainment onboard and the Broadway-caliber shows.
Now, the first step to enjoying your trip is embarkation, so let's talk about the
necessary documentation. To avoid delays in boarding or confusion, I would encourage you to ensure all of your paperwork matches. For example, if the ID you are referring to has a new address listed, you can log into your account on the
Disney Cruise Line website and modify your address. Hover over the words, "Already Booked" and then click on "My Profile." If the address your Mom entered when booking is correct, but your ID is outdated, I would recommend securing a new ID with your correct address prior to your sail date. If you don't have your own account to make modifications, please
call into Disney Cruise Line directly and speak with a Crew Member.
Finally, Katrina, if you have moved in or out of the United States, please make sure to thoroughly review the Passport requirements and any other documentation needed well in advance of your trip.
Wishing you fair winds and following seas,
Lauren
