My mom is renting a scooter at DW. She can walk but tires very easily (having foot surgery 2 weeks after trip). We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. Will we be able to take the ferryboat with a scooter? Will we be able to load bus with scooter?

    Hello Erika!

First off,  have you been to Disney's Wilderness Lodge before?  If not, you are going to really enjoy your stay there.  You will feel like you are in a different world, being transported to an amazing lodge, reminiscent of Yellowstone National Park!

I have more good news.  Unless water levels make it impossible (rare), the boats are able to accommodate electric scooters.  In addition, all of the Disney buses are able to accommodate scooters with the help of an electronic wheelchair lift.

Please let me know if I can help answer any other trip planning questions, Erika!

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
