My mom just recently had knee surgery and found out it didn't take. She doesn't want to cancel our trip that we've had in the works for more than a year, but she won't be able to walk around the park with us. Is there somewhere we can ren

    Hi Tina,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a magical week.

I’m sorry to hEAR about your mom’s knee surgery - I hope she is on the mend. After planning your trip for so long it is important that your mom takes care of herself while enjoying her vacation. The Disneyland Resort does have wheelchair and Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) to rent on a first-come, first-served basis.  Here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted visit. If you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
