Hey Joel,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I'm so glad to hear you're hard at work planning your next trip to the Happiest Place on Earth - and that it sounds like you'll get to enjoy it with your Mom - what a great way to celebrate her for Mother's Day!
The Disneyland Resort website has a really helpful
Accessibility hub that has quite a bit of information for people visiting the parks of all abilities. I'm hoping that some of those tabs might offer some different ways to help your Mom have a magical time during the visit.
Additionally, I would also recommend sending an email to
disability.services@disneyland.com so that a Cast Member can help with the specifics of your situation and point you to the best resources to help during your visit. On trips where I've visited with others who required additional assistance, this team has been really helpful in letting us know the best way to access the accommodations we needed.
I hope you and your Mom have some fun traditions that you'll be able to partake in during this special visit! For me, growing up, my Mom and I always had to stop at least once for a hot dog at
Refreshment Corner and take a spin on the wildest ride in the wilderness,
Big Thunder Mountain. No trip ever felt complete without checking those two boxes!
Thanks again for stopping by with your question, Joel. Enjoy your upcoming visit and a happy Mother's Day!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
