as a mom preparing for first trip this site has been super,i will be asking many questions as my inner child is just beaming,,,we are visiting early spring 2011 and want to stay at all star movie resort what building would put us close to the pool and bus

    Hi Sherry!

Welcome to the Moms Panel! I'm glad to hear it's been of help to you! It's really a lot of fun for us here on the Panel to share our experiences with guests like you, so feel free to write in your questions and delight that inner child.

The buildings most central to the main pool and the bus loading area are Fantasia 5 and Fantasia 8. The preferred rooms are located here, as well as in the 101 Dalmatians (where the second pool is located) and Toy Story buildings (my kids favorite to hang out and take pictures by). Preferred room rates are slightly higher than standard rooms, but are usually well situated on the resort to make your stay more convenient.

When I stayed at the All Star Movies Resort, even without a preferred room, I found the resort easy to get around without too much walking. I was concerned since I had a double stroller to push around, but the All Star Resorts have a great lay out, making those tired evening walks back to the room a breeze.

     Hope this helps!
