My mom is planning on taking me to Disneyland for my birthday and I was wondering if you get free admission on the day of your birthday?

    Hi, Maria!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for visiting us with your great question. You're going to have so much fun celebrating your birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Although the Disneyland Resort did grant a free park admission ticket to Guests on their birthday as part of a promotion about five years ago, this is not currently offered and so you will need a purchased theme park ticket for admission. However, there are other ways to make your visit to the resort special, including a complimentary birthday button. It can be customized with your name so you’ll receive personalized birthday wishes from Cast Members all day! If you have any table-service meals planned, let your server know you’re celebrating a birthday because you may receive some extra magic during the dining experience.

I hope this helps you plan, Maria, and that you enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted birthday visit to the Disneyland Resort with your mom!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
