My Mom and I are planning a surprise 14th Birthday for my DD for her Bday Mar 2014. We have a ADR for Be Our Guest Restaurant. Do they do anything special for people celebrating Birthday's? Going to Disney to celebrate her Bday is a life long dream of her

Hi Yvette! I would love to be there to see your daughters face when she finds out she is going to Walt Disney World for a surprise birthday party! It will certainly be a trip of a lifetime for her and one she will never forget!

Congratulations on nabbing a sought after reservation for the Be Our Guest restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. It is a beautiful new location for a relaxing meal while in the park with three room choices for you to dine in. I love them all and never request a specific one but try to walk through and at least peek in each one. They used to offer the very special "gray stuff" for birthday guests but there were so many requests for it you can now get it on a cupcake. Be sure and let your server know it is her birthday to see if any other special magic can happen.

Pick up that birthday button for her to wear. Cast members will all be wishing her the best all day. I just enjoyed my own birthday in the parks and couldn't believe how many well wishes I got all day. Check out the birthday floral packages you can order at the Disney Florist, www.disneyflorist.com. Having something delivered to her room on her special day will be very magical. You can also order a cake for the room or let the cast members know when you check in for your dining reservation that you would like to purchase a small cake that each restaurant has on hand for guests to get without pre-ordering.

There are also nice big birthday hats that can be found in some of the parks if she would like to let the world know its her special day. I usually bring a birthday tiara or some sort of birthday band for my family members to wear as I like more then just the button to announce their big day. Have fun!!!
