My mom and I are planning a birthday trip to WDW in early February 2013. Her 55th, my 30th! Our first time a few years ago, we stayed at Polynesian because of easy transportation options. Mom gets motion sick easy. What resort would you suggest this trip?

Hi there Emily. May I be the first to wish you AND your mom a very happy birthday! Visiting Walt Disney World is always special but, there's certainly extra pixie dust in the air when your vacation includes a celebration!

Based on the fact that you've mentioned your mother's motion sickness as well as easy transportation options as a main concern, I'd recommend that you look at your theme park touring plans in order to determine your best home-away-from-home option. For instance, if Epcot or Hollywood Studios are high on your list or priorities then staying within a short walking distance at one of the nearby Deluxe resorts along Crescent Lake would be ideal. I personally love Disney's Yacht Club Resort for the ambiance and close proximity to the many incredible dining options of World Showcase Lagoon. If you'll be spending most of your time at Magic Kingdom Park, then you can't beat Disney's Contemporary Resort for the direct walkway to the main entrance!

Wishing you a magical trip with you mom this February! Please feel free to send more questions my way prior to your trip!
