    Hello mom panel, I have a questions. My family and I are traveling our first disney cruise in December for my two kids 9 and 5 christmas gift. Does disney do anything special to celebrate the holidays i.e. decorations, or christmas tree.

    I'm so glad you asked this question! Disney Cruise Line has recently added a bit of extra magic to the holidays with Very Merrytime Cruises. The entire Disney fleet will be decked out for these seasonal cruises - transformed into a holiday wonderland!

    There are all kinds of celebrations onboard, including:

    King Triton's Tree Lighting Ceremony

    Special Holiday Storytellers

    Youth Holiday Crafts

    Deck the Deck Holiday Party

    and much more!!

    When I toured one of the ships in December, it was decorated from bow to stern with gorgeous holiday decorations, including a three-deck-tall tree in the Lobby Atrium and a life-size gingerbread house! I was able to talk with the Cruise Director about all of their fun holiday plans. She told me all about the special events during the holidays, and it sounded like loads of fun for all ages!
