    Hi mom panel, I have been doing research on the best time to go to DW. We went ahead and booked for October 14th-19th of this year. Are there any weather/events that we need to worry about beside the food and wine festival. Thanks

    Hi David!

         Congratulations on doing your research - it will absolutely pay off!!!  October is one of my all time favorite times to visit Walt Disney World - the weather is perfect.  Regarding crowds at this time, it just doesn't get any better.  They will be virtually non-existent!  According to historical patterns, your days will all feature crowd levels rated 3, 2, even 1 out of 10.  Trust me, this is practically unheard of!

         Not only will you be able to enjoy the Food and Wine Festival (which is AMAZING!!!) but you will also have three chances to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  It will take place October 14, 16 and 18 during your magical vacation.  If you have the opportunity, I would attend it if you can.  It is SPOOKtacular!
