Hi Nicole!
I'm so excited to hear that you're planning on spending a day at Walt Disney World Resort while you're in Orlando for your cruise! A few years ago, we visited the "Most Magical Place on Earth" after disembarking from the
Disney Fantasy and it was the perfect way to spend our last vacation day!
Walt Disney World Resort honors all unexpired
theme park tickets, and it sounds like your mom either purchased the ticket before 2005 or purchased the No Expiration Option, so it's not expired. However, tickets are non-transferable, so if your mom has already used admissions on the ticket, then it can't be transferred to you for your upcoming visit. Unfortunately, since tickets can't be transferred to different people, you also won't be able to use the one ticket for multiple members of your family. You can get additional information about your mom's ticket and how it can be used for an upcoming vacation by calling (407) 939-1289.
Nicole, keep in mind that all Guests ages 3 and above need both a theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation to visit the theme parks and reservations are limited. So I recommend that you get your tickets and theme park reservations arranged as soon as possible to ensure you can visit the theme park of your choice during your trip!
If you aren't able to visit one of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, you should consider visiting
Disney Springs during your day in Orlando. It's a great place to get a taste of Disney magic and you don't need theme park tickets to enjoy it. You'll find amazing dining, entertainment, and shopping in this beautiful area. Be sure to stop at
Gideon's Bakehouse during your visit for incredible baked goodies!
Feel free to come back to see us if you have any questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
