My mom has mobility issues. We plan on taking her to included waterpark with stay. We won't be purchasing her EPCOT tickets until the next day in case she can't do a theme park. Do I just get her a log in on My Disney Exp for WaterPark?

Hiya, Gina, and welcome to planDisney! I’m thrilled that you’ve stopped by with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!

Gina, you’ll be happy to know that you have a couple of options when it comes to setting your mom up for a successful Disney Water Park experience. You can create an account that’s managed by you within My Disney Experience, or you can create one for her that she can manage herself. If you do create one for her to manage, you can still link her account with your Family & Friends so you can make plans together.

If you choose to create and manage your mom’s account, you can use Disney MagicMobile Service, or she can use her MagicBand+ or a Key to the World card to access the Water Park. If she manages her own account, she can use all three of these options as well, but the MagicMobile pass can be on her smartphone, rather than yours. She might appreciate wearing a MagicBand for the simplicity of scanning it at park entry and points of payment.

I hope you’ll find that Walt Disney World Resort has become more accessible than ever! Whether you choose to take your car or a bus to the water park, you'll be taken care of. Did you know that the Walt Disney World Resort buses are ECV-friendly? The bus drivers will be more than happy to help you board with a ramp, and they'll ensure you have a safe ride. All you need to do is relax and enjoy the scenery!

If you need any information on scooter or wheelchair rentals, please visit this helpful website or head back to planDisney. We'd be delighted to help you understand the details of accessibility and how to make the most out of your vacation. When in doubt, ask a helpful Cast Member for alternate routes, seating, options for boarding attractions, and other things that will help you have a seamless experience. Disney's healthcare provider, AdventHealth, is also ready to help with anything you need, from equipment rentals to prescription delivery.

Gina, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your arrival! Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See ya real soon!
