Hi Mom, I love this forum! For the races, is there a difference between the Princess half marathon, the Tinkerbell half marathon, and the half marathon presented by Cigna, or is it just different dates?

Hello Jaclyn!  Thank you so much!  I am so glad that you have been able to get some good advice from us here at the moms panel!

The half marathons that you have listed are somewhat different.  Each race weekend has a different "theme" to it.  The Princess half marathon and the Half Marathon, (presented by Cigna) that takes place during marathon weekend in January, are both at Walt Disney World in Florida.  The Tinkebell half marathon is at Disneyland in California.  There is also a Wine and Dine half marathon in Florida and a Disneyland half marathon in California.

The Princess and Tinkerbell are both marketed toward women, although there are also men that run.  They both are very full of "girl power"...powered by tiaras and pixie dust!  The Disney World half marathon and Disneyland half marathon are both more traditional Disney character races, and the Wine and Dine features a night race with an after-party at Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival.

All of the Disney races feature amazing on-course entertainment.  They all have awesome health and fitness expos and beautifully-designed medals.

You can find a list of events on the runDisney website.  Please feel free to let me know if you have other questions!
