Hi there, Sasha!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you are considering a Disney Cruise Line vacation with a little one! My husband and I took my oldest son on his first cruise when he was seven-months old and were back on our second cruise a year later with a 16-month old and a 3-month old (age requirements have since changed)! We just love Disney Cruise Line vacations and cannot say enough great things about taking little ones along! While she won’t remember the vacation, you will leave with some of the best memories from this special time together.
Disney Cruise Line has plenty of wonderful itineraries to choose from and I really wouldn’t say one is better than another when traveling with littles. And I say that because Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with littles so convenient! From providing pack and plays and high chairs to the onboard nursery, it’s just a great way to travel with the littlest Mouseketeers! I think I would first consider how long you want to be gone and if there is a departure port that is easier to get to for you! Itineraries that visit
Castaway Cay are always one of my favorites because you get the opportunity to visit Disney’s private island! Since the ship docks so close to the beach there, it’s super convenient to come back to the ship if need be – whether for naps, food, or some downtime. But, no matter which itinerary you choose, I know you will have a magical and memorable time onboard!
Oh, I am so excited for you and this vacation you are planning! Please come back with all your planning questions once you do book your vacation; I promise it will be magical and memorable!
