My Mom was given ticket vouchers for touring a timeshare. They say we cannot claim the vouchers until we check in. How do we go about attaching the vouchers to my Disney experience so we can add tickets & make reservations?

Hi Missy, and welcome to planDisney!

A Walt Disney World Resort vacation is in your future, and that is always a reason to celebrate!

I had some experience with timeshare Disney tickets some years ago, and of course, things worked differently back then. Now you have My Disney Experience and the Disney Park Reservation System, so it is possible to link theme park tickets before your arrival.

If the company has provided you with the vouchers, the ID code should be present. To link your tickets, log into your My Disney Experience account and link the vouchers using the ID code, or if it provides a barcode, you can scan the barcode with your smartphone to complete the process. Once you input the information, you will link and assign the tickets to the individuals that will use them. I am sure you will still need to claim/activate the tickets once you are checked in, but you should be able to begin the theme park reservation process. Before you start, be sure to add the names of the individuals who will be using the tickets to your Family & Friends List so that you will be able to assign them to the appropriate individuals.

We are happy to help you as you continue to plan your upcoming vacation; just let us know how we can help.

    Have a magical vacation!
