My Mom is a DVC member, but I’ve been planning our vacation though the Disney experience App. Is there a way to link her DVC reservation to the tickets and reservations made through me on the app?

Hey there, Jeffrey! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question!

In just weeks, you'll be arriving at your Disney Vacation Club Resort, excitedly ready to begin your magical family vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm SO excited for you! One of my favorite things about being a Disney Vacation Club Member is being able to bring friends and family with us to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort together. Of course, we have a blast in the theme parks, but some of my favorite memories are the small moments in our DVC Villa - brewing coffee and having breakfast together in the morning, meeting on the balcony for great views and conversation during a midday rest break, and having late night chats about our favorite moments of the day. Those are the magical moments, and I'm so thrilled that you and your mom will soon have these memorable moments together. I'm honored to help you plan this pixie-dusted family vacation!

I'm happy to let you know that you can easily link your mom's Disney Vacation Club Resort reservation to your My Disney Experience account to have all of the Guests linked to the Resort reservation, tickets, Theme Park Pass reservations, dining reservations and more. First, make sure that your mom has listed you and any other Guests on her Disney Vacation Club reservation. If she has not yet done this, it can be done by clicking "View or Modify Details" and modifying the Guests under the reservation on the DVC website. Then, make sure that your mom and anyone else traveling with you are listed under your "My Family & Friends" list on your My Disney Experience account. If she is not yet linked, have her open her My Disney Experience app, click "My Profile," then click "Show My Linking Code." This will create a unique linking code that your mom can share with you to easily add her to your Family & Friends list.

Once every Guest is listed on the DVC Resort reservation and your My Family & Friends list, click the Resort Hotel icon on My Disney Experience, and then click "Link a Reservation." Enter the DVC Reservation number and the last name on the reservation, and there you have it! You should all be linked and ready to plan! If you have any issues at all, your mom can call DVC Member Services and speak to a magical Cast Member for assistance.

While you're living it up on your springtime getaway, make sure you don't miss the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! With the gorgeous gardens and unbelievably creative topiaries, EPCOT has never looked so beautiful, and with countless Outdoor Kitchens with dishes and drinks full of fresh flavors, you'll want to plan multiple visits!

Jeffrey, I am wishing you and your family THE most magical upcoming adventure! Stop by any time with any of your vacation planning questions.

I hope to see ya real soon,
    Mandy
