My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and has had part of her lung removed. As a gift for being a "brave" girl during her treatments I am treating her to Vacation. She is pretty weak and can't stand or walk for long. Do you have any recommendat

Hi Carla! What a lovely vacation you are planning with your mom! You'll both treasure the memories. Wheelchairs are available for rent once you enter each of the four theme parks. The parks are huge and involve alot of walking, so this might be a good idea.

I also recommend getting a Guest Assistance Card at guest relations. This card alerts cast members of your mom's special needs. At  Guest Relations, simply explain your mother's needs to the cast member. They will issue you a card that is valid for all four parks for the length of your stay, so you'll only need to do this once.  At an attraction, your party will either enter through the regular line up or a cast member will take you to an alternate entrance.

Please write back if you have any other questions Carla! Wishing you and your mom the most magical vacation!
