My mom has a DCL placeholder reservation booked. My friend and I want to go on a cruise, just the two of us. Are we able to use my mom's placeholder somehow?

Welcome to planDisney Amanda!   Thank you for sailing by with your question.

At least one Guest who was in the stateroom from the original sail date when the Onboard Booking Offer purchase was made must travel when the offer is redeemed. If you were with your mom, then you and your friend would be able to use it.  If not, it cannot be transferred.  Travel must commence within 24 months from the date it is purchased. The reservation can be made by calling Disney Cruise Line directly.  Please note that there are some blackout dates.

If you are not eligible to use the Onboard Booking Offer, there are other special offers that you can take advantage of.   There is currently a limited-time promotion on select cruises where you pay only 50% of the required deposit at the time of your booking.  The select cruises include itineraries to The Bahamas, Western Caribbean, Australia and New Zealand, Sydney to Honolulu, and Honoluluto Vancouver.

Amanda, if you have any other questions, come back to visit us at planDisney.

    Happy Planning!
