Hello mom & dads! Looking for advice on stroller rentals: what are the pros and cons of theme park rental v. orlando strollers v. bringing your own? My son will be 5yrs and probabaly at least 50lbs at the time of our visit. Thanks again!!

    Hi Deanna!

Well, I'll tell you, this is something I've been through on ALL sides!!  I prefer to bring our our, or rent from Orlando Stroller rentals--we used them last time and they were FABULOUS!!

Here's the lowdown.  If you are staying on property and taking Disney Transportation to/from the parks, then I might go with a theme park rental, but it can add up quickly and you lose the convenience of it once you leave the park.  The strollers from Orlando Stroller Rentals are SUPER nice, easy to push, and rental and return is a breeze!  I LOVE being able to use the stroller at Downtown Disney or for quickly getting around the resort.

If you have a nice, sturdy stroller from home (that has nice tall handles for pushing), then I'd bring it, saving you the cost of a rental.  Nothing is worse than hunching over a small umbrella stroller--my back aches for those Moms and Dads that I see.

I hope this helps you with your decision!
    Have a magical vacation!
