My Mom and Dad purchased their own Disney World tickets, but I want to connect our tickets with theirs, so that we can all be on the same genie plus/LL schedules! How do I do this?

Hi there Sierra, welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question, I'm thrilled to help! Can you believe your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just a few short days away? You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

From the very start of your vacation planning to the final day of your trip, My Disney Experience offers several features to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World vacation! I would suggest connecting your account with the accounts of your mom and dad. That way you will still be able to access all your plans, including Genie+ and Lightning Lane plans from your own account but still be able to share plans.

I find the easiest way to connect to the accounts of friends and family members is by using your Linking Code. To find your Linking Code, tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Then hit “My Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then prompt you with a warning explaining what the linking code is. Once someone scans your Linking Code, you’ll be added to their Friends & Family list. Then tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then create a unique linking code. There’s a QR version as well as a manual code that your friends and family can type in.

If your mom and dad wants to scan a linking code to connect to you (or you want to scan their linking code) - tap on the three horizontal lines to the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Select “My Profile” and then “Friends & Family List.” You’ll then scroll down to where it says “Add a Guest.” Follow the prompts to Scan their Linking Code. You’ll scan your parents linking code when they have it up on their phone, or you can manually enter the code. That's It!

Sierra, I hope you find this information helpful. Thank you again for visiting planDisney. We'll see ya real soon!
