Hi, My mom, dad and I (22 y.o girl) are very keen to come to Disney World from the 27th Jan 2012-31st Jan. We are a little confused as to what Resort we should stay at. Looking at the Deluxe Resorts/Villas with a room close to lobby/transport. Thanks. Jen

    Hi Jen,

From your description, my first thought is the Wilderness Lodge, which is a deluxe resort near the Magic Kingdom that is housed in one building, which keeps all the rooms at least under one roof to get to the lobby. In fact, there are rooms that are actually right off the lobby at this resort.

Similarly, the Grand Floridian, also a Magic Kingdom resort and the flagship resort of WDW, has rooms within the main building.  However, these rooms are concierge rooms so while you will have more amenities, they will be more costly.

The Contemporary Resort is also a Magic Kingdom resort located so close that you can actually walk to the park; it also has rooms within the main building.

If you'd prefer being within walking distance to Epcot, both the Yacht Club & Beach Club are deluxe resorts with rooms near by the lobby.

Finally, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is another resort located near the Animal Kingdom where rooms are near the lobby.

With all these resorts having rooms near the lobby, they would also be close to the bus stops. If you'd like to explore the links above and find you have more questions, please let us know.  We can provide you with a lot more details about the resorts.  Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel.
