Howdy Amanda!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for stopping by to share this essential question with us!
I am so sorry to hear about your mom's difficulties! The wonderful thing about the
Walt Disney World Resort is that its philosophy is “If you can dream it, you can do it!” So at the Walt Disney World Resort, almost nothing is impossible! Since your mom cannot stand in a conventional queue for a long time, I recommend speaking with Guest Relations at the entrance of one of the theme parks. Explain her situation to a Cast Member, and they will be able to assess and sign your mom up for the
Disability Access Service. After she is all signed up, the Cast Member can arrange your first attraction return time!
After you complete each attraction, you can approach another Guest Relations kiosk and have a Cast Member obtain your return time or go to the attraction itself, and a Cast Member will assign you a return time! On your
My Disney Experience mobile app, you will notice a search option at the bottom! Type in Guest Relations, and you will see the option to choose “Find on Map.” After clicking this option, you will find all the Guest Relations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. I have found this very helpful as I navigate the theme parks, and it helps cut down on extra walking!
As the phased re-opening continues, check out the
Disney Parks Blog! If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your vacation with your mom, please come back to planDisney! We are always here to help you with all your planning questions, Amanda!
