My mom is coming with us to the World apr 1-7 and has VOLUNTEERED to babysit our kids one night so my husband and I can go on a date! We're staying at AS Music so were thinking Downtown Disney. Looking for a good date night suggestion in the area.

Let's hear it for grandmothers who volunteer to babysit!  To quote my fellow panelist, Wes, "Woo-hoo!"

Lauren, you and your husband are so lucky to have an evening to enjoy each other's company at Walt Disney World!  If you are headed to Downtown Disney and enjoy Cuban food and some salsa dancing, then Bongos is the place for you.  After dinner and some dancing, the Downtown Disney shopping district is a lovely place to hold hands and walk along the water.

If you are looking for an incredibly romantic evening, however, I am going to send you in a different direction.  Make a dining reservation at Citricos, Victoria & Albert's, the Grand Floridian Cafe, or Narcoossee's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Then, after your lovely dinner, wander out onto their white sandy beach to sit together on a swing or cuddle in a hammock while you watch the fireworks over Cinderella Castle.  My husband and I honeymooned at the Grand Floridian, as did my fellow panelist, Monina and her husband.  We can verify first-hand that this is an enchanting and romantic resort.  You're going to love it!

Savor the time you have to spend with your husband!  I hope you have a truly magical evening!
