My mom is coming with us last minute. We were able to add her to most of our dining reservations with the exception of a few. What are the chances of her coming with us to those reservations, just to see if they could add her on?Hate for her to miss out!

    Hi Megan,

How exciting that your mom will be able to join you for your magical vacation! Depending on which restaurants you are trying to add her on to, you might be successful at the host/hostess stand on the day of arrival. Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest are especially hard to add someone to the reservation, but even at those places it isn't impossible. I would simply tell your mom that you will do your best to add her and have a back up plan for her meals in the event that it doesn't work out. Bring her with you to check in for your Advanced Dining Reservations and when they confirm the number of guests, simply say "Actually it's x number now! We're so excited that my mom was able to join us at the last minute to come make memories with us..." or something along those lines. Then just politely ask if they can add her to the party size. Let them know that you understand that you might have to wait a bit longer for a bigger table. I ended up bringing my niece at the last minute in November. I was able to add her to every reservation as I checked in for dinner.

Wishing you lots of luck and a very magical vacation, filled with priceless moments together.
