Hey there, John. Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for dropping by with your question for us.
I think it is so special that your mother is coming to visit you and planning to spend some time at
Walt Disney World. It truly is the most magical place on earth. That's going to be so much fun.
I did take a look at the
Walt Disney World Pixie Dust Annual Pass blockout date calendar and I can see where the week of Christmas is blocked out. It looks like your pass will be usable again, on select days, starting January 2nd. If this is the Walt Disney World Annual Pass that you have, then you won't be able to use that particular pass to get into the Walt Disney World Theme Parks on those dates when blockouts do apply. However, John, I see where you mentioned that you are from Florida. If I were you, I'd consider getting a
Florida Resident Ticket for the dates when your mom is in town. The Florida Resident Tickets are very discounted, I like to think of it as a personal thank you from Mickey Mouse himself. But, before you purchase those tickets, please check the
park pass reservation availability to make sure that you can get into the theme park you'd like to visit. Christmastime is very busy and those park pass reservations do get swooped up quickly. As of right now, some of the theme parks are still available for those dates right after Christmas. If this is something that you think you are going to do, I encourage you to do it as soon as possible because I am certain those days will reach maximum capacity.
I hope this helps, John. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy holidays!
Jackie H.
