Hi, Tamara!
Welcome back to planDisney. Sailing on the
Disney Treasure is the ideal way to celebrate the holidays! You will have the best time on this new ship!
It sounds like you are flying into Orlando the day before your Disney Cruise, which is a great idea in case you run into any travel issues. I chatted with Cast Member Adelle who said that Guests who booked their pre-cruise hotel at the
Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and
ground transfers through Disney Cruise Line will receive an email with the pick-up location and time about 24 hours ahead of time. Guests are typically asked to meet in the hotel lobby around 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. (although that is subject to change).
Additionally, information about dropping off your luggage should be included in the email. Guests are usually asked to leave their checked bags outside their hotel room door between certain hours in the morning. Just make sure to attach your
Disney Cruise Line luggage tags before leaving your bags! Keep any essentials with you, such as medication, valuables, electronics, and of course, your
Port Arrival Form and
government-issued identification.
Staying at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport is a unique experience! My family stayed there after our Disney Cruise last year. My kids loved swimming in the warm outdoor pool as planes took off down the runway. It was very cool! We ordered our dinner to-go from one of the hotel restaurants and relaxed poolside for our final day of vacation. It was a nice way to end our fun trip!
Tamara, I hope this information was helpful. Have a fantastic voyage!
Happy sailing!
Jen
