Hi, My mom and I just booked our first Disney cruise on the Dream in late Jan. and will be bringing my daughter who will be 20 months at the time along. Are the live shows suitable for little ones? Which would you recommend?

    Ahoy there Kim,

All the Broadway-quality entertainment aboard the Disney Dream is designed with families in mind.  I imagine your daughter will be enchanted by The Golden Mickeys, Believe, and Villains Tonight.  These stage shows are colorful, energetic, and accompanied by beautiful music.  Even the show about villains isn't designed to be that scary.  The stage can be a bit darker at times and the music is perhaps more foreboding, but the villains are still introduced with a fair amount of humor and whimsy.

If you fear your little one might not have the attention span to enjoy the entire show, I recommend that you arrive early and grab seats near the aisle.  That will give you the opportunity to make an unobtrusive exit if need be.

Wishing you and your family a delightful cruise on the beautiful Disney Dream!
